you are right on track. you should only gain about 30 pounds through out your whole nine months. you will gain most of your weight in the last three months. thats when the baby gains most of its weight. try to remember that you dont have to eat for two. thats a myth. if you do you will gain to much weight. whice will stay with you not the baby. look at it this way. a baby weights between seven to nine pounds the placenta weights about oh say maybe about five pounds. after birth anouther few pounds and then you have water weight. when you add that up it should be no more then between 21-30 pounds. you dont have to eat more just because you are pregnant. just eat healthy. remember not to look at it as eating for two. some women even lose a few pounds when they first get pregnant which is normal. good luck and congrats on your new addition.

That depends on the woman. I didn't start to really gain weight until about my fifth month. The healthy weight gain for a normal pregnancy is between 25 and 35 pounds. Once you hit about five months, you can expect to gain around a pound a week.
If you were overweight before you became pregnant, you will gain less weight. If you were underweight you will gain more.
Are you under the care of an OB? Do you have regular visits? As long as your doctor is unconcerned, I wouldn't worry about it. It all sounds normal to me!

I have had three pregnancies. If each was like my last I'd still have my twenty year old body!
First son I didn't over eat except nearing the end. I put on a whopping 125lbs.
Second son I maintained my weight Lobster and Shrimp almost every night, along with strawberry milk. I only put on 20lbs.
My last, my sweet daughter, Iwas eating every 5 seconds. Ladies I worked with always had something nourishing. Granola, fruit snacks, fruit slices, peppermints(to soothe), dry fruits. breakfasts were large portions of cheerios 2 or 3 bowls then abag filled for ride to work,. Lunch what I brought and some from the ladies. Dinner was just as grand for me.
I maintained only putting on 3lbs. Istill don't understand it.
As long as your eating healthy foods my dr. said don't worry about the weight issue. You do not want to stress out on this for that is not heathy for your unborn child.
Each pregnancy we experience is never like any other we have had or yet to have.
So if your eating the right foods your on the right track. Keep up daily walking, and stretches are great for your changing body.
If your dr starts showing concern ask why he/she has them and if your eating healthy foods and stay in good health during this time I can't see why he/she would bother.
By the time ifound out I was expecting my second son I had managed to lose 100lbs of the weight my first pu on.

Yes... it is perfectly normal... I am at 20 wks now and have only gained 5 lbs. I lost a lot of weight during my first few months due to morning sickness. Now that it has passed... I am gaining weight... it should be going up from here on out. No need to worry.... but if you are concerned... I would ask your doctor.

29 lb is the usual encouraged weight achieve for the period of being pregnant. You are doing best! Beyond the 25-35 lb that's encouraged (supplied you're now not obese to begin with), your weight achieve has little to do with little one's start weight. Besides, greater than eight lb, you're watching at a talents C-segment. I won an entire 50 lb. Towards the tip my OB advised I curb on delicate carbs like rice and candy culmination like grapes and melons. I had a 7 hour hard work and popped him out effectively. My son used to be born 7 lb five oz., very healthful. But 7 months after supply, I am obese. I have misplaced 20 lb (I'm breastfeeding), nonetheless 30 to move. Looking ahead, I plan to achieve 30 lb for the moment little one. I suspect you obtained wiser after your fifty five lb achieve as good. 30 lb is best, wish you are going to have a individual supply and healthful little one.

It depends! If you had morning sickness then u might have lost weight in the first place. Your doctor would let you know if your not gaining enough weight, so there's no need to worry.
Good luck with the pregnancy
