Right now I love the bands Static X and Slipknot. Are there any other bands I might like?

There's this really great band from Colorado called "The Axe That Chopped the Cherry Tree." They're not super famous yet, but they're so amazing! You'll love them, I do. They have a myspace... just search for their name.

If you're a Slipknot fan that you'll probably like the Murderdolls.
As for another underground band, check out Thrice. A friend of mine recommended that band to me. I did some research and they're pretty cool.

If your into the heavy side, you should check out Arch Enemy, they have a truely awsome sound, and not to mention an awsome female vocalist! the 2 albums i recomend are Dead Eyes, See No Future, and Doomsday Machine.

you might like norma jean, killswitch engage, or zao....they're not necessarily "underground" bands, but you'd probably like their style of music
