This is a great site for up to date info on LV, including all of the "meal deals", "graveyard specials", Buffets, etc
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO"
My favorite "moderate" price steakhouses
#1-Pullman Grille - Main Street Station
#2-The Range - Harrah's
#3-Prime Rib Loft - Orleans
#4-Billy Bob's - Sam's Town
Best value buffets
#1-Main Street Station
#2-Boulder Station
#3-Orleans
#4-Palace Station >like someone said, it's the best breakfast buffet in LV for the money. MSS & BS are the best for Lunch & Dinner, the Orleans is a very good value just not quite as good as the other two.
There are a couple of great seafood buffets that won't break the bank, all are in the $15-$18 range. There are others, but there are far and away the best value.
Fremont
Orleans
Main Street Station
My favorite place to grab a burger
Terrible Mike's - Orleans
For a fun hotdog
Slots-A-Fun - $1.25 footlong 1/2lb with all the fixins.
Hound Doggies - Riviera
The Coast casinos have $1 dogs
Ellis Island has a $4.95 steak dinner that's actually very good, it's not on the menu you have to ask for it.
Mr. Lucky's at Hard Rock has a steak & shrimp special for $7.77 again it's not on the menu you have to ask for it. >"Zippy" already gave you this one, sorry. take it as an added recommendation, it's pretty good.
California has a $6.99 prime rib dinner
The .99c shrimp cocktails at the Golden Gate are a LV legend. They have been on the LVA's top ten values in LV list for over 280 months. The GG is the oldest hotel/casino in LV, it opened in 1906.
This one is a little more expensive than my other recommendations, but if you want a relatively inexpensive romatic restaurant.
Top of the World - Stratosphere >the restaurant is about 900ft up and revolves once an hour.

Gonzalez Y Gonzales at New York New York in case you like Mexican. The charges are probably the most fair now we have discovered at the strip for the quantity of meals and excellent plus there are the loose chips and salsa earlier than the meal. Also, Le Provencal at Paris. Very well pasta additionally loose bread and dipping sauce. If you move on the correct time they've making a song waiters that is amusing. The MGM has the excellent buffet. ( the seafood buffet on the Rio is well however for the duration of new years anticipate to attend two or extra hours..or extra. I did over exertions day and believe me it'll be like a loopy feeding frenzy as though individuals suppose buffet meals runs out.) Just a caution consuming is luxurious in Vegas and a vacation can get close gouging on charges. What I do is consume a enormous meal within the core of the day and get snacks both within the morning or overdue at night time. Have amusing!

I loved the Fulton Street fish Market at NYNY. They have a meal deal for $14.95 that easily feeds 3-4. They have great fish and I am not a big fish eater. They also have this clam chowder in a bread bowl for around $4 that is a meal in itself.
And I noticed the poster who said the America at NYNY. I liked it there also. I know they have all you can eat pancakes for around $7 but it doesn't include meat. I liked it because I am not a breakfast person and they have some lunchy type items on their breakfast menu. They scored points with me for that......
and I didn't think the Aladdin buffet was all that either. The guides all say that is one of the top ones but I thought the "stations" were lacking in variety. Only the meat and dessert stations rocked in my opinion.

I like the breakfasts served at America in NYNY. The Pink Taco at the Hard Rock is good Mexican food. Mr. Lucky's at the Hard Rock also has good prices - there's apparently a steak special for $7.77 - it's not on the menu, you have to ask for it.

I like the breakfast buffet at the Palace Station (not on the Strip or downtown, but just off the highway from downtown). It's been a while since I've had it, but people came from all over to have it back then. Real cheap ($4.99?) and EVERYTHING you would want.
