Can you ever be friends with someone you hate?
Two people despise each other for years (man and a woman) could they ever actually start having respect then actually like become friends or are they doomed to pretty much hate each other forever. Strong willed woman and man. Women and mens views please.

Not a married couple just someone you know in a social setting that for whatever reason you despise each other kinda like a hate at first sight thing for no obvious reason.

Stranger things have happened. People grow up and realize a lot of what they said, did, or thought, was just childish thinking. So...yep. It can happen.

of course. it's happened to me before. i couldn't stand a couple people and then they said something i really liked or they were really nice and as cheesy as it is we bonded i guess you can say. the relationship and my outlook on that person changed. some people are misunderstood or just disliked for simply being different. plus some people can be real jerks or come off like a real jerk and end up being a really cool person once you get to know them

This is totally possible, my b/f used to have an arch nemesis, they fought for years, and then one day they realised they had grown up and become men, and now they are good friends. Not best friends, but very good friends.

yes i think they can. the more you get to know someone the more likely you will find a good quality in that person, hate at first sight, sounds harsh.
