Could this be a miscarriage. Have had a lot of symptoms of pregnancy, but tests were negative

This could be a very early miscarriage either way there isn't much a hospital can do and if the tests were negative then if you are/were pg it is very early on and mc would be very similar to heavy period.

If after you have taken painkillers you are still in a lot of pain then you should phone NHS direct. Unfortunatly there isn't a great deal that can be done so you need to sit it out UNLESS you really are in a great deal of pain.

Your period is suppose to be in 4 weeks?
One sign of pregnancy is called implantation bleeding. Get an appointment scheduled asap and get checked out. One way to find out. The Dr. can do a blood test which will have quicker results than a hpt.

Get medical help. It could be anything if your in the UK you could call NHS direct on 0845 46 47 but they normally tell you to go to doctors or A&E. Good luck
