HOW DO YOU CONVERT A FILE FROM MP3 TO aac ?

Download iTunes and go to prefrences. Click on the advanced tab and swich the convert option to acc. Then click ok and close the window. Select the songs you want to convert and in your menu bar (File, Edit, View, ect.) and click advanced and then click convert selection to acc.

Got to the source website below and try to download a music converter, AND MP3 takes up 2x -3x as much room as aac or wma

Why? MP3 is a more recognizable file format. I'm sure there's a way to do it through iTunes, I am just not immediately aware how to.
