I reserve judgement on what his motives are. I wish his wife well. Why he would keep on campaigning is hard for me to imagine. If I was as wealthy and young as he and my wife was ill I would forget about everything else. I would spend my time with my wife and family doing everything we dreamed of doing while she is still in good health. I would search the world for a cure. But put her through a presidential campaign or even being first lady should I win? No.
That is only my opinion. He sees it differently. If this is just a stunt he would have to be pretty reprehensible to pull it.

In a year she will be cured, and say it's because of the huge amounts of ketchup she eats. This will raise Heinz's stock so they get over on us twice.

What a crock. Who would publicize something like that for a potential vote. Like it will matter.
