It is, in every imaginable way, a really, really bad idea.

You could ask for more - but remember after his essay has been graded, you can sell the essay on a coursework bank site on the internet as well; but only if it gets an A or A* (or equivalent).
But, remember that if he hands in the paper as his own work, the examination board and teacher have the right to reduce all his marks to zero, and in the United Kingdom, ban the student from taking any exams with that board ever again.
Hope that helps,
Simon H

If you need the cash, why not? Later in life, if the fool gets to be a politician or a CEO at Walmart, you can hold a media conference and tell all.
But $10/page?? come on. That's worth at least a flat rate of $12/page.

You can help him write it but by no means do all the work yourself. It needs to sound like he wrote it and he needs to understand the content so that he can answer questions about it if asked. Very bad idea to write it for him.

a) It's not really a great deal, unless you're hard-up for the money.
b) It's academic dishonesty. If you were at my University, and anyone found out, you would be expelled.
