usually on informal probation they don't do that. i am also a ca resident and was on informal probation, they could not drug test me unless i came into the probation office, which i never did. so i don't think they can search your house.

You are completely under the control of your probation until you fulfill you time. They have unlimited power over you. This is the rules in Wisconsin probation. I am not an attorney or lawyer. Just an ex employee of the department. You know the saying you cant fight city hall. My advise is to cooperate
