I think that you are secretly disrespecting the people you are meeting. Meeting them, obviously isn't important enough for you to make an effort. I have known a few people like that in my life, and I can tell you that they are not well thought of. Some people simply wouldn't put up with it.
How do you carry on with more important things, like work, travel by air and rail etc.
Maybe you are very badly disciplined on these things because of the way you were brought up. Why don't you be realistic about how long it's going to take you to get somewhere, then allow a little extra time on top of that. But first, you have to CARE. Think about the inconvenience you are causing those you are meeting.

come on; this is a wind up!
I have a friend who is consistently late for everything, except work. I make an arrangement to meet her, and she knows I'm always on a tight schedule. She's always late. One day, she was so late, I had to text her and say "sorry, but I had to leave"
then she gets into a tizzy of apologies, but does the same thing next time.
I'm always early for things. I leave for an appointment half an hour before I really need to; it doesn't matter if I'm early.
Why don't you just leave earlier?
Or do you subconciously not want to go where you are supposed to?

I "suffer" from this same problem and have all of my life! A couple of things that I do are to set my clocks a few minutes fast and to tell myself that I actually have to be there 15 minutes before I really do! I am 34 and have lost jobs due to this problem...it's like I would tell myself that it was okay for me to be late...when my family has gatherings, they always tell me an hour ahead of when they actually want me there. (I didn't know this until recently...) lol It can be a very serious problem! My husband gets tired of waiting on me when we try to go somewhere...he makes sure he tells me like 3 hours ahead of time to "get ready because we are leaving at..." I just tend to get distracted easily! If I am getting something to wear out of the laundry room, I will go ahead and fold the clothes that are in the dryer and then that leads to clothes in the washer and so on...Good luck to you! I know how bad it can get!!

I have the problem that I always wait till the last minutue toi do anything so I have to do everything at least half an hour earlier. Also making sure if there is stuff you can prepare the night before do so. Speed up on things and leave the house with at least ten minutues to spare especially since anything could happen like traffic jams and so on.

i'm very forgetful, so a final hotel degree I now and returned use is to mislead myself. i will positioned the due date for some thing in the previous than it certainly is, like on a calendar or some thing, and that i will on the instant do some thing else exciting and distracting, like play video games. i will shortly ignore the two the genuine time, or the actuality that I replaced the date. So while that date comes up, i will panic and do it on the final minute... and then locate out that whats up! I forgot, I replaced that date! Cool now all I would desire to do is evaluation and fix it up. sort of like the practice of placing your clock on your mattress room quarter-hour speedy, so which you think of you're working previous due, yet you nevertheless arrive early. it is likewise attainable to time table a time to fulfill a classmate to pass over the undertaking/paper/notwithstanding. in case you settle to fulfill at seperate periods to pass over different drafts, or different outlines, etc, you're able to do your favourite procrastination panic earlier each and each assembly, instead of earlier the certainly due date. that still would not treatment the subject, even though it will get a finished paper in on time and it will supply you somebody else to study your artwork with. it incredibly is a attainable fix, methinks. I indexed it 2d in basic terms on account which you could no longer constantly locate somebody to do this with.

Best one is to set your clock forward.
A good one for a man would be to get a very sexy lady to ask you nicely everytime you have to go somewhere when to leave so you wont be late.
Also tell your self if your not there early you might miss out on something.
Good luck

my sister is always late. sometimes 2 hours lat. also, another friend is the same....
try thinking of the people you're letting down. i have stopped going out with my sister now. it's too frustrating, i feel she acts very selfishly by swanning in 2 hours late but with a full face of make up on and hair excessively styled.
late people really let others down and may loose respect of their piers.
try remembering this when you plan to do something. always amke sure you're ready to leave half an hour early, so you know you'll be on time!!
