0.75x = x - 1,500,000

subtact 0.75x from each side....

0 = 0.25x - 1,500,000

0.25x = 1,500,000

(Multiply both side by 4)
x = 6,000,000

.75 = (x-1,500,000)/x

.75 = 1 - (1,500,000/x)

-.25 = - 1,500,000/x

-.25x = -1,500,000

x = (-1,500,000) / (-.25)

X = 6,000,000.

0.75.x = x - (1.5 x 10^(6))
1.5 x 10^(6) = 0.25 x
x = 1.5 x 10^(6) / 0.25
x = 6 x 10^(6) = 6,000,000
