You use a (either a DSL or cable) high-speed connection to access the Internet. You open your browser to do a search on Google and receive an error message "Server cannot be found." How you might troubleshoot this error. What are the likely causes of this error?

It could be your modem, it could be your router, it could be the ISP having issues, it could be your firewall. It could even be the specific website, but if you aren't even getting Google up, that's unlikely. Try unplugging your modem and or router for 30 seconds then plugging it back in. If that does not work, then call your ISP for specific tech support.

This sometimes happens to me after my brother plays the xbox 360 live and what i do is unplug and replug in the modem cables and restart the computer that always works for me! Good luck.

wow I go to goggle all the time and I use dsl. Um in the internet theres file edit,, and so on. Go to tools and to Diagnose connection problems maybe or also try to go on other sites to see if ur net works.
