Weed and feed should be applied in the evening before the dew sets on the grass. The weed leaves must be dry. Try to watch the weather, so it might rain 24hrs. after it is applied.

I live in hot and humid East Texas, and here, it's too late for weed and feed. The weed seeds have already germinated. You could put it out now, but the only benefit you'll probably see is from the food. And, weed and feed costs more per square foot than regular lawn fertilizer, so you would be spending more money on a "hit or miss" application. You may as well just "feed", and take care of the weeds as they come up. Hope that helps!
