Yes - it was ITV that first started the 24 hour business, but they'd be lost even now without the part -text rubbish at 5 am.

Shame about the American visitors to the UK site getting all the answers wrong for us in Great Britain ! ! !

ITV remember it well as i wasnt working and the only thing to do was watch videos or listen to the radio till they started going all night and it wasnt crappy quiz programmes like now but films, n music plus yank stuff like tour of duty, 60minutes.

ITV had the first breakfast television with TV-AM so i assume it would of been ITV
