Men generally don't define things. we just kinda let them happen.
I would expect a friend who is a girl to be more sensitive to personal problems and not give a 'sucks to be you' answer. From guys I expect that.

ah this one is easy to answer ! i have a few friends that are female, and yes they are just that,friends! now we can pal around, laugh, joke ,wrestle a bit ,cut each other down,pick on each others sex life or just hang out. i guess i really dont expect any more or less from a girl friend than i do any of my guy friends.you also must understand that i am happily married and have been for some time now. so i guess i do expect one thing extra from a female that i expect from all males and that is not to be hit on or flirted with !lol good day

The highest expectations of friends (girl) is as my sisters, but for boys/men is as my brothers. Best friends is in between of brothers/sisters and just friends.
But special for my girl friend, she's already become my wife.

there is no true friendship between guy and a girl.
You will prefer your good friend girl as always happens.
So why bother with males? Have sex and throw them away like pair of old sacks.

well, someone that would bail you out of jail... but the real friend will be sitting there with you saying 'damn, that was fun'
this goes for my friends that are male or female...
if it's a 'girlfriend' thats another story.. but should be similar...

Loyalty is something I value above all other things. I treasure friends that I know will 'always have my back' regardless of their gender.
