I used to watch this show (I'm pretty sure it was on cartoon network...) that was about these robots. Animal robots though, and people would get inside and fight in them, and the main character had like this awesome white one or something who was I think some type of cat animal, and I REALLY want to know what it was called. Anyone remember?

it sounds like either thundercats or voltron. Those are the only 2 I know of that sound close

Yeah it does sound like Zoids. Zoids mostly had animal like robots and people either accompanied them by fighting along side with them from the animal robot's inside or on the side.
Either shows that can possibly be it:
Transformers (buts its more like cars and transportations transforming into robots)
Voltron (I only saw the beginning but maybe something like that)
Gundam Wing? (This is a WAY older series and it doesn't really match your description, I just feel like talking about it)
Power Rangers (there are many different types of Power Rangers now but there is a one season- Power Rangers Dinothunder where the white power ranger had this really cool white dinosaur...and dinosaurs are animals...)

Zoids? Ronin Warriors? Those are the only ones that I can think of. I used to watch Cartoon Network all the time, but I'm not too sure what you're talking about.

Sounds like Zoids. I remember it used to come on Cartoon Network. It had something to do with what you're speaking of. Do you mean Transformers armada? or maybe it was The Vision of Escaflowne(main characters Hitome and Van)? if it was the latter, it's still being aired on Animax. I personally think it was Transformers...since Escaflowne has no cat-shaped fighting robots......why dt you search for "transformers" in wikipedia.com......it'll help you confirm.

Are you talking about "transformers"? The song was "Transformers!..Robots in disguise!" Look up transformers on google and see if it looks familiar
