so why does it tell me windows 32 is not valid.how do i fix this?
i met to say its the real legal cd.

if you are sure the cd is the original windows XP cd. then it's possibly dirty or damaged. check if you can fix it and if not try downloading a windows XP cd or borrowing it. just use your valid and legal serial number.

Double check it, you may have typed it in wrong, otherwise call microsoft and they'll walk you through the steps. As long as the cd is the legal cd and the key code it not being used on another computer, it wont cost you anything.


I've done repair installs tons of time.

When an XP repair attempt fails, bite the bullet and do a clean install.

just reload OS on it. u sure that u fixing windows from the CD?
