I'm 17 weeks 1 day and for the past two days I've felt little bubbles floating around in me. Yesterday they felt a lot like hunger pangs even when I had just finished eating it seemed like my stomach was rumbling. Today they feel like bubbles, also a little like hunger rumblings. On both days they have only been on my left side. I'm 5'4" and 115 lbs. Think these are first movements? I'm a little confused because they're not the "butterfly" feeling everyone talks about, they feel more like bubbles.

When my baby moves it feels like bubbles ( I am 18 wks) and I first started feeling them at 13 weeks. The last couple of days I have had some "pokey" type pains, and I think it's because he is getting bigger. Your baby is moving...definitely!
Congratulations!

I have also just peaked over my 17 weeks mark and I am having small sensations of movement in my abdomen. My midwife asked me at my last appointment (exactly 17 weeks) if I had any feelings yet and I told her it felt like a growling or hunger sensation but I was not hungry and had in fact just eaten, and there was also no audible sound. She assured me that this was a common feeling of the baby moving! Not everyone has the "butterfly" feeling, not everyone has the "growling hunger pain" feeling--but you'll know it when you feel it...if you know you're not hungry, if you're simply standing still, lying in bed, sitting down and you feel it--be excited! In a few more weeks it will be more pronounced and visible!

Congrats and good luck!

The first movements I felt, felt like little vibrations and little bubbles very low in my abdomen. These feeling kept increasing in frequency until around 20 weeks when I felt the first kick. I never understood the butterfly feeling either, but I figure it is hard to describe and we all just describe it differently, but probably feel the same thing.
You are around the right time to be feeling those first type of movements though.
Congrats to you and baby.

I felt my spouse's tummy being kicked fairly/little one motion commencing round week 20 (she is fairly skinny and plenty of stomach) but it surely was once no longer as common and regularly tough to think it . Now at 23 weeks, I can think it very with ease everytime the little one is kicking (which it's most of the time for the duration of the day) and every time my hand is within the correct location at the stomach. it's fairly the revel in. So, yet another few weeks and your hubby shall be competent think probably the most pleasure of honestly feeling the little one. Good success.

It's neat uh? I bet you are feeling movment. When they move it feels different from the kicking. But your stomach isn't were it once was, was when you feel gas, it's probably that little guy/girl swimming around. I bet you are excited!!!!! Have fun!!!! Enjoy the early fun parts...
