Those supporting ex-gays or how to overcome same sex attraction are routinely deleted.

Why is their truth any less valid than the pro-gay position?

Yet, I see gross descriptions, words, sayings from the gay side that are truly offensive to others.

The homosexual agenda is very powerful in this country. They seek to take away our religious freedom and the right to free speech. There is legislation working its way through our gvt right now that will make it a hate crime to read a Bible if it gets passed. The Bible is full of "hate speech" as they will call it. Our first amendment right protects us right now, but soon, God's words could be banned. Christians must rise up and make our voices heard. The Truth is Jesus Christ.

I am an ex-gay myself. My testimony makes gays angry. If I could change, then their genetic theory is false. They don't want to admit that change is possible, because that exposes the lie of what they are trying to convince themselves of. They'd rather live in their deception for some reason.

There is an attitude among the gay people on yahoo answers that prevents any valid non-gay information from being put out. They can and do write up bogus " reports of abuse" on anyone who does not support their " cause" There have been so many complaints about this behaviour that rumour has it this entire section may be shut down because of abuses of the system by a few " gay activists" The discussions section of yahoo news was shut down because a few " gay activists" were harassing anyone who posted an anti-gay or non-gay views, through post and emails and phoney abuse reports.

Questions and answers that do not follow the TOS of Yahoo run this risk.

Users must report the violation (since Yahoo can't be bothered to monitor its own service) and Yahoo must agree that the question/answer is in violation.

It should be noted that anti-LGBT hate speech is against Yahoo's TOS. One may hold any hatreds and bigotry that they want, but when they choose to preach it in a public forum, it is subject to the TOS.

Perhaps an examination of "truth" vs. scientific fact is in order for some.

As for me, I prefer not to believe some people who have been misguided, or are simply lying.

You don't know sh*t about discrimination, so it's about time you got over yourself, and you haven't yet learned the difference between truth and lies. Gays that have content that violates Y!A guidelines are tossed, as well. Unfortunately, you can't see the world very well through your "martyr glasses".

As an aside, the Christian agenda is very strong in this country. Did you know that there are several bills in legislative bodies all over the nation that have, and will continue to, renounce gays as second-class citizens due to the corrupt morality of the first-class ones? It's because the truth exists only for people that benefit from it, and Jesus only loves people that are born exactly the way he wants them.

As a further aside, ex-gays do not make me angry, they amuse me, and make me a little bit sad.

YA has TOS. Contact them and they can explain the rules, if you are truly interested in knowing them.

Are you seriously asking / or just whining about it?

People's orientations are their own. I feel anyone trying to convince people of beliefs other than their own should just go away.
