Well, read, read, and read some more.

Use it, try it, keep on working at it.
Many books have been published on it and many web articles cover various parts.

Try "Mastering Red Hat" book as a start. (Probably available at your library or nearest book store)

It starts out somewhat confusing if you are coming from a Windoors :) environment but it gets much easier with use.

Practice, practice, practice.

Search the web, read books, post on forums, etc.

In short, educate yourself!
