'Frosted' eyeshadows contain 'mica' (a mineral), that's what makes them shiny; however, they do NOT contain glass. Stick to matte colors & you won't have any problems.

Listen to your eye doctor! Corneas can get stratched by many things like dry eyes, contacts, or something in the eye. When you use eye makeup, particularly mascara, get one that is hypoallergenic. AND, change your eye makeup at least every 90 days or more. Makeup can grow "germs" and hurt the eye.
Since your doctor said you have dry eyes, what did he prescribe? RX or OTC? When you think about it blink your eyes several times. Many people who have dry eyes just don't blink enough, especially those first wearing contacts.
Either way, DO WHAT your doctor said to do.

No, it doesn't have any glass in it. It does have talc which might scratch the cornea, if it gets into your eye. But for the most part, it won't hurt you unless you rub your eyelid and then your eye. Go ahead and wear it.....

I am sure that any powder eyeshadow in the eye could cause discomfort if not damage. Some cheap brands imported from countries whose regulations might be loose, could cause unknown damage. Play it safe and only use high quality brand names near your eyes.

No, no glass, some have mineral components in them, like certain pigments, buy the good stuff, no cheapy, bad for your eyes, if it gets in them, look into the brand you like, find out what is in it, go from there! remember, no cheap makeup.
You only have one set of eyes, don't ruin them for the sake of beauty!

Ya, the eyeshadow might be on too thick so, particles from it may fly into your eyes when you blink or wind blows in your face. GOOD LUCK! YOU GO GIRL! ;) =)

Don't think it would be the eyeshadow since it goes on your eyelid on not in the eye.

That's right, companies are putting GLASS in a product that goes on your eye. *sarcasm*
No, there's no glass in there. Your problem isn't related to your eyeshadow.
