Negative. It's close, but you'd be downgrading slightly at both spots. Jeter is a slightly better SS than Tejada (better all-around numbers but less power). And Mussina is better than Glavine.

You'd have a debate if he threw in a better pitcher, but you need to be upgrading at one slot at least.

being an orioles fan,

jeter is better than tejada, mussina is better than glavine. plus, tejada wants out of baltimore, so where he goes may make an impact on how he plays, and more importantly, with peter angelos running things, and not caring about anything other than himself, tejada may not go anywhere, and an unhappy player is an unproductive player. look at most drafts, glavine is picked up maybe 30% of the time, while mussina is picked up like 90% of the time.

I would not do this. Tj and Jeter are almost identical. Jeter will have a better average more runs and more Steals. while TJ will have more homers and more rbi's. I almost view them as a wash (slight edge to Jeter Better line up)

Now Mussina. who is the number 2 guy on a great staff to

Glavine who is not as good and has tailed off for how long.

So your basicly giveing him a better pitcher. and tradeing SS which wont help you very much.

I would say this is a very bad trade for you,

It depends. Do you need some power in your lineup and if so, do you have enough player that can get you hits, doubles, etc.? If you answer both question yes, than I would. If you have enough power in your lineup, I wouldn't.
