im going to see the phantom of the opera at the princess of wales theatre. i heard that there is a dress code. but im not too sure what to wear? do i have to be all dressed up? thx thx...

it is proper to dress for the theatre. You don't have to go completely all out, but wear what you would to church, on a date, or to an interview.

:D i'm going to see phantom of the opera in vegas this summer too! some outfit ideas could be: dark skinny jeans with some nice high heels and a dressy-ish top with a sweater and bag, or you can wear a skirt. something around there, you don't want to show up in a long dress, that would be crazy! its in-between casual & dressy, have fun!

Formal wear, definitely. For a girl that usually means an evening dress or a smart pant-suit.

Just dress for the theater, preferably well, and not what passes for dressing for the theater these days. Make it comfortable. It is a long show.
