The only law for shots is the rabies shot. You want to give them this shot...But it is good to vaccinate them with all there shots. It will usually keep them alive and healthy for a long time. If you can not afford to take them to a vet,if you have a tractor supply store around you can pick up all the vaccines you need except the rabies. Its easy to give your own shots and don't cost much at all.You can find out where they are having a 4-H clinic and get the rabies shot cheap also. But if you love your animal give the shots and have them spayed or neutered..

Unless you want a very ill or dead dog, yes, they need their basic vaccinations. At the very least, a puppy series must be completed including diptheria, parvovirus, leptospirosis and pneumovac.
Rabies vaccine is required by law in all states, so you definitely want to do that. Rabies is a disease that affects the central nervous system and you would slowly die of brain disease.
This is a very strange question. I'll just say, if you own animals you are responsible for their health.

dogs need the rabies shot only because IF your dog were to bite someone chances are they will quarantine the dog for 2 weeks, so if you don;t want that to happen it is best to get them their shots you just don;t know you could run into a raccoon or other wild animal

Yes. See your vet (or ring and enquire) about shots.

You will also need heartworm prevention which is entirely different to normal worm prevention.
