how come the cavs are the second seed in the eastern conference? if the standings are made by record, by that logic shouldnt the bulls be the third seed in the conference? and if not, and it is chosen by division leaders, shouldnt the cavs be fourth seed? what yall say?

Leading a division guarantees you a TOP 4 spot. Not a top 3 like most sports. The top 4 spots are ordered by the record of the 3 division leaders and the non division leader with the best record. Spots 5-8 are done by record of everyone else.

i think they only consider the top 2 of the division (detroit and cavs) and then followed by other division leaders ( wizards and raptors) for me it doesnt really make sense. they already revised the seedings because of what happened last year where dallas was 2nd in the standing but was placed as 4th seed. why not just put it as east and west, no more divisions in that case it would be easier to seed them.

there cannot be 1,2, and 3 seeds in the same division, but there can be 1 and 2 seed in the smae division. The raptors are before the bulls because the bulls are 3 in their division and the raptors are first even tought they have a worse record.
