Abu Dhabi is very safe for women. You can wear anything as you want.
Even shorts and tank tops going down town shopping. Being dressed like that just would show you not having respect for the Muslim Culture. But nobody would say anything. Abu Dhabi is as westernised as Dubai is, too.

Ah do not challenge. i've got been to Abu Dhabi till now (for a bypass to in the process the summer season) and that i surely like it. there substitute into completely no sexist crap like in afghanistan not often taking place ect. Abu dhabi is like the ultimate place for women to bypass to b/c not something takes place there like crimes or women not being often taking place b/c they don't positioned on a hijab or they are all on my own devoid of guy ect. that's great there. completely they are going to settle for women. all and sundry's great there.

Yes. Safer than many many places. Not that rape is unknown, just very rare. Be streetwise in less public areas at night.
Clothing restrictions are more or less removed now. Once it was very severe but both AD and Dubai are very relaxed and tolerant. Just don't go overboard with very short shorts and over-exposed breasts. There is a decency limit! You WILL be stared at, both by locals and by expatriate workers.

Its safe enough for woman, for more safety have Police number and go their. Whenever u face a problem just Dial this no and they will help. UAE police are helpful for people their.
Note: do not exaggerate in your wear then u will be more acceptable, socially speaking.

I am middle-eastern and was there recently...it is not 100% safe...men will stare at you alot, even if you cover your body...I felt only 100% safe when I was with my fiance..all middle-eastern men stare a lot, I find...maybe cos I look like a local and I wear western clothing.
