I was on a strong antibiotic last week for an infection. I thought the pills were causing my strong nausea and heart burn. i took my last dose sunday morning. I am still nauseated. I took a pregnancy test even though I was sure I wasn't pregnant just to rule that out as well. (it was neg of course)
So what could be making me sick?
I'm not sick enough to go to a doc. At least I don't think so , so no answers that say Go to ER or anything plz.

Hi there,
The antibiotic can stay in your system up to 7 days after you take your last dose. I know for sure that Zithromax (Z pack) does. Since it was a strong antibiotic I would say it's just still in your system and will go away in a few more days.
If it continues on though, I would call the Dr.

You could have a virus. They can last up to 2 weeks and at this time of the year there is a lot going around. Try a antacid or Mylanta type of medication and see if you get some relief from that. If the symptoms persist you should check with your doctor.

depending on what you were being treated for, if you feel sick you should go to a doctor cause what you were treated for could be worse that could cause the nausea, you can buy things over the counter for that type of problem, that would be a cover for some thing to get worse or you could have a totally different problem that you do not know about. the doctor is the best answer.sorry I hope that you feel better soon.

Stress and anxiety causes nausea,body aches of all kinds it can cause alot of problems.Try to journal,write down what is stressing you and read it then throw it away.This helps.I have a hard time of letting things go that bother me. Good luck...

spots in your stomach? I would just call your doc and
ask about it.
