I'm sorry you are feeling anxious, sometimes it just happens even for no reason. It is a terrible feeling!
Make an appointment with your doc to make sure you have no physical problem. If you have no physical cause it may be general anxiety disorder or depression. These can be caused just by brain chemicals being out of whack. Tell the doc about these feelings, there are treatments out there.
Until then, take a walk outdoors, it will clear your mind. Also laughter and singing helps take the feeling away temporarily.

You must slow down,
take deep breaths of fresh air.
Drink plenty of water
Keep off of Alcohol.
Eat fruit & vegetables & white meat & come off dairy products for a few days
Relax possibly arrange a body massage.
Bathe your feet in a foot spa.
Keep away from busy streets or shopping centres & go for a casual 2 mile walk preferably somwhere with grass & trees or where there are farm animals.
You may even book yourself into a hotel for a night where there is a swimming pool & sauna etc.
Do something different to the norm & relax
You will feel a lot better.
Best wishes & good luck

Go to the Doctor. I had the same problem, I went to the Doctor and found out I had a bad ulcer that needed to be treated. As soon as I was done with the medication my anxiety went away. Good-luck, and don't wait.

I think everyone feels anxious at one time or another. When I feel that way, I go outside for a long walk and breathe in the fresh air. Breathe in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Im so sorry you are feeling this way. its horrid isnt it.
I used to get really anxious and suffer many panic attacks as a result.
I discovered if i put a few drops of my fave smell on a tissue and kept it in my pocket/bag. whenever i felt another attack coming on i used to breath deeply and slowly inhaling the calming aroma of my tissue.
I loved the smell of vanilla or english rose. ( turkish delight )
it helped me loads.. give it a try with your fave scent

sorry to hear that you're feeling like this. it happens to me quite often also. when i feel like this, I do the following and it does help me
if you have someone to talk to, talk to them, tell them every small thing that is on your mind. sometimes when you start to talk out loud to someone, things just start flowing, even emotions you weren't aware of before.
Before I go to bed I write in my diary. basically its a notebook that i keep with me and write down all my thoughts and worries. it helps to offload them from your mind and you feel as if you don't have to keep thinking about things as it is written down and you can refer to it later if you know what i mean?!
I try to keep myself as busy as possible, if you are starting to feel more anxious, make yourself get up and do something theraputic, for me its clearing out a drawer or sorting through old photos or something, just something to occupy my mind.
I hope this helps in some way, but if it is really interfering with your everyday life i would (and have done) go to my GP about it and if they can't help you, they will know of someone who can.
Good luck and take care
