Can somebody actually die on one of those? If you saw 'Final Destination 3', you know what I'm talking about...

I will probably look like a baked apple by the time I am 50 but I love them. As for there being a law against them that'll never happen. America is a free country and if someone wants to bake themselves to a crisp then they can.
Just wanted to add that I am not one of the crispy ones...I just like a good healthy looking tan.

i used to work in a tanning shop and some people would go on them for 12 minutes a time these are the stand up beds
people just dont care how bad they are for your skin i didnt realise at first but i stopped going on them and got sacked for not looking brown

They are hotbeds of skin cancer and death. Your skin is beautiful and meant to last your lifetime, why would you want to tan it? It is not shoe leather. Pale is beautiful.
Protect your skin and you will look like you are 30 when you are 60 rather than tanning the heck out of it and looking like 60 when you are 30.

I know they're not good for your skin and what-not, but I still feel they are alright to be used every once in a while and not abused like some religious tanning-bed users do. But I guess to each their own.

I love them,I feel better with a tan and I use protection from harmful rays.I know a lot of people dont like them,but they're usually the pasty ones any way...lol

I'd like to try it for a couple of weeks, or the spray on tan. But I wouldn't keep at it.

I never understood why somebody would pay good money for a tan in a microwave oven when the sun is free.
That is why it is called Fake N' Bake :)

Tanning beds are for the very foolish and childish. Don't do it.

I love them, but don't want to grow older and see the damage it did to my skin. I only go one month out of the year, at the beginning of summer.
