i was in middle school. I was in the library and the librarians had the tv on and it just looked crazy. So i went back to class and told them what had happened so my teacher explained what had happened and they said they weren't allowed to turn on the Tv's cause they didn't want us to get upset or anything.

In Upstate New York In the basement doing laundry and a friend called me my family was in Pa I drove home the roads where earily empty but I had to make sure they were ok because the city was 60 miles away I guess we all remember where we were it was a sad time

I was in the law school cafeteria eating breakfast. Some one came in and said he heard on his car radio what had happened. We all went to the library and watched the story unfold on TV the rest of the day.

i was in third period - typing class - in the sixth grade, when i first heard of the whole thing. my principal who was sugar coating us made it sound as though two planes had crashed into each other above the towers - not into them. i came home, and saw the news, and met my neighbor who had just gotten home from work (she works in NYC) and she told us of the bodies that her coworker was stepping over and how she could see thousands of people jumping from the windows from her building.

I was staying at a friends house while mine was being built. My dad called at 5am and told me that we were going to war. My boss was in NYC and it was so surreal. We all gathered at work and tried to get a hold of him. He finally called and told us all to go home for a couple of days. It was one of the worst days ever.

I was in Washington, DC. It was terrifying. I knew people working at the Pentagon. It was one of the most terrifying days and I will never forget it.
