It doesn't necessarily have to be about titles and slams. Which team, in your opinion was the best?

On the men's side, there'd have to be a 4 team tournament between The Woodies, McEnroe/Fleming, Bryans and Haarhuis/Eltingh. They are all truly formidable doubles teams. I personally believe the Woodies were the best by just a little.

On women's side, a similar final four would be Navratilova/Shriver, Hingis/Novotna, Venus/Serena (remember when they used to just embarass the best doubles teams in the world?), and Gigi Fernandez/Zvereva. The current team of Ruano Pascual and Suarez are pretty amazing too, especially since they seem to hate coming to the net.

In my opinion the best doubles team ever was Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge. I give them a slight edge over McEnroe and Flemming, but I consider McEnroe to be the single best doubles player ever. I would also put the team of Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi over Haarhuis and Eltingh, even though they are a very good team. Bjorkman is still one of the best Doubles players ever.

I would have to go with Fleming and McEnroe. Although the Bryans are quite impressive in the modern game. Also, don't forget about Paes and Bhupathi

Johnny Mac and Peter Fleming were fun to watch.

I kinda like watching the Bryan twins, although I wouldn't call them the best tandem ever.

The Woodie's were also pretty damn good.

I'm not too knowledgeable about doubles, but Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur seem to be excellent the last few months/year.

Undoubtedly McEnroe and Fleming, and then Hingis and basically anybody...
