If your dog constantly sheds it may be that she has a nutritional imbalance and you may want to ask your vet about the food you are giving her. You may need to change her diet. Other than that regular brushing (I use one of those Shed Ender combs on my cat with good results) is a must. I do empathize though, at one point we had both a Newfoundland and a Sheltie at the same time. Between them they shed so much fur I could have knit a dog a day.

Brush your dog every day really well (outside). This will help to reduce shedding. Get a shedding blade to use during shedding season. When you vacuum - pull the furniture out every other time. Be sure to vacuum behind and under the furniture. The old hair and dander gets under/behind the furniture and that can cause a smell. Change the ac/heating filters regularly. Purchase the good ones that are rated to collect dust mites etc.

Try getting rid of the black labrador. I never understood why people wanna live with dogs. They're such dirty, unsanitary animals. Whether they're s------g all over the place or stink because they can't bathe themselves or shedding hair all over the place and farting, or peeing on people because they have no manner. On top of that, some of them have the breath of death...Ewww. It's no wonder you can't keep the house clean. Your dog sheds all over the place--that's your problem.
This is a health issue too, because some people (like me) are extremely allergic to animal dander

I have a Border Collie and Lab mix! I find hair all over that place! A few times I even found some on top of our very old player paino! What we try to do is brush her a much as we can with a bursh that gets the undercoat. You can find them at PetSmart, and animal stores like that. Ours was only like $5. But it really helps, even though you still find some sometimes!
Good Luck!

I used to have a client with a Labrador with a thick coat, but there was never tons of hair because she had it groomed every week. I also cleaned her house once a week. If you can afford a grromer and a maid and hate dog hair that much, do it!

Brush the dog every day and vacuum and sweep the house every day. I have a border collie and he sheds like crazy. If I skip even 1 day the hair takes over.

Bathe the dog once a week and drag the vacuum and a damp cloth for the mop boards and know you will always have hair in the house.

She sounds like a real sweetie!

I have to deal with a similar problem, with a pair of cats. And about all I can do is vacuum and dust frequently. And have a place she can stay when she has muddy paws, until her feet are dry.

Good luck!

Get rid of the white sofa and change your decor so the black hairs don't show
