This question and your comments will give English teachers gray hair.
First, we are blessed to have a language that adapts to our lives and continues to grow as things change. To worry about the expansion of language is to lack an understanding of progress. As science and technology progress and bring us new and better understanding of the universe and ways to interact, new words are necessary to describe things. The only thing that could stop the expansion of language would be the stagnation of society.
Regarding the word, "YOU" it is both singular and plural. You do not need to say, "you guys," just say "you." That is sufficient and sounds considerably better.
I do agree that our language is complicated, but so are our lives. That should be celebrated not regretted.

words won't wreck any bones. i'm lots greater passionate on the subject of the increasing type of persons than with words. living languages consistently evolve. some words are extra; some fall out of use. There was evolution of pronunciation to boot -- it incredibly is why French is unintelligible to Italians -- yet that would have been arrested by ability of the fashionable distribution of common dialects.

It's not the new words that scare, it's the lack of people who will actually use them that worries me! As you can see on Y! Answers, not many people know the difference between there, their and they're...etc...
