you have to force it into disk mode and then it should work
(hold down the menu and middle button at the same time and wait until the apple logo appears, when it does hold down the play button and the middle button and wait until it says ok to disconnect. leave the ipod for a few minutes and then turn it off, it should be fine then)

it is going to bypass back to the main menu and you will disconnect yet while it dosen't that merely capacity yours is diffrent then my, if it says okay to disconnect, then you certainly cab merely unplug it and your reliable

If forcing the iPod into disc mode does not help, go into iTunes, connect your iPod, and hit "restore". I've had this problem before. This is also good if you want to 'rename' your iPod

ummm I would try and plug it back in and leave it over night? it might help!

Leave the hold off!
