Almost would want to say be glad you are in America and have the PRIVILEGE to say that, yeah it is our RIGHT but you know Govts take those rights away. Imagine for a moment being in Iran. Try saying that the President is wrong, or even worse say the Grand Supreme(or whatever exactly the title is) Ayatollah is wrong. Try arguing there WAS a holocaust. There is a good chance you would be put to death. Why are they so against you trying to prove something that didn't happen? Why are they so against something that isn't fact? Wouldn't your silly "evidence" just prove they are right? Honestly I don't know what I would say. When I was in college we had a Holocaust survior come in and speak. Well he was one of the lucky ones. His family wasn't caught until the end. He was a kid when they took him to a Concentration Camp, the day after the killing machines were shut down. The allied forces were closing in. He still went through horrors, including the hiding up until his family was caught, even in the camp. Lucky enough though that he got there a day late and was able to live. It took him YEARS to be able to tell his story, just imagine if he had been at the camp longer. Well this was '98-99 school semesters. At that time it had just come out about this story about supposed home video showing Hitler wasn't as bad or evil as always made out to be. That he was basically a human like the rest of us. So I asked the guy about if he would be upset about these movies coming out if they were real. He told me he lived through the censorship and he thinks history will judge Hitler for who he was and he doesn't want to see ANY censorship basically. Maybe that kid will be lucky enough to get listen to a survivor one day. Let that guy tell his story. They remember so we won't have to as they say. They remember so they can stop the horror from reawakening. Hitler is still alive in the shadows so to speak. No not a boogeyman or such, just an undeniable evil. A charasmatic figure that people will fall in love with and won't realize what is going on until it is too late and that figure has total power. Then the people will be too ashamed to try and stop that figure. Anyway if that kid never gets to listen to a survivor maybe he will get to see a concentration camp. They are still up because they still need to be. There is a power to them that can't be understood until you go there as I understand it.

I would recommend they visit the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. After having been there, no sane person can deny that it happened.
They have video, pictures, and audio recordings of the events.
They have a wall full of names of known people killed in the concentration camps.
Accoding to the numbers at the museum (if I remember right, it's been a while), just over 6 million Jews were killed, uncounted Gypsies, and it lists the other groups, including POW's, those that helped the Jews, etc.

I think it depends on how the denier came to the opinion.
If they did so because of racism or just general stupidity, it's prob. not worth your time (or anyone's elses) to argue with them b/c it's pointless to argue with a zealot.
If, on the other hand, they read one of the more "scholarly" books on holocaust denial (which like kennedy assassination books can sound plausible to people without real knowledge), the best method would be to expose them to the facts, both books refuting the deniers, 1st person accounts, and the excellent museums, photographs, and movies that document the holocaust.

Interesting suggestion, however the Jews had not anything to do with the Crusades. The Crusades had been performed via Christians to rid the "Holy Land" of Muslims. The Christians had been even positive in having a Christian King of Jerusalem in vigour for a short lived interval. I feel the primary Crusades had been performed via the English, then the french, then the English once more. In all whole, many atrocities had been performed via each the Muslims and the christian for the duration of the crusades.

The Jews did not suffer in Germany because there was no Holocaust. Actually it was the Jews that was torturing the poor blond haired deprived Germans. Those tattoos on the Jews arms and hands that are still alive today (by the grace of God) are really there because they want to be hip.
OTHER CONSPIRACIES TO THINK ABOUT:
1. We knew the Japanese were going to bomb Pearl Harbor before they did. I mean come-on President Roosevelt liked the thought of our boys baking inside the Battle Ship Arizona before they died. The President was looking for a better way to get a good nights sleep.
2. America did not land on the Moon. We payed billions of dollars for the 360 foot Saturn 5 rocket so we could look at it and say wow that is a big rocket. We kept approx. 400,000 technicians, scientists and construction contractors quiet, with zero leaks to the public. The rocks that we thought that came from moon and have proved to be from the moon are really from the Pacific Ocean.
3. The Mafia whacked JFK, via the Russian connection, via the Cuban connection.... The man on the grassy knoll was a CIA agent acting on orders from Giancana from Chicago and Marcello from New Orleans, with duplicity from Castro and Kruschev....true story.
4. Aliens landed in Roswell and we transported them to Area 51 to back engineer their technology, where do you think the stealth air craft came from? Again, we kept it secret by brain washing the thousands of workers who were in on the scam.
5. The Moon we see every night is really not there along with the planets, stars as well as the Planet Killing Asteroids. Those were put there by the evil United States to toy with our minds.
6. The fossils of homo eructus, neandertals and 15 other hominids that are extinct were put there by paleotologists, archeologists, and assorted rock hounds to enhance their careers. Creationism is the only reality.
7. America is a conspiracy and is a fake country and none of us Americans really live here.
8. I was never born so this response to your question is a fake.

Evidence is all around us.
Facts lay in libraries and schools from one equator the the next.
Germany still has the prisons in which the jews were held.
thank god they are now being burned down.
The Holocaust is as much of our history as the cold war.
Not to mention the many families that are a generation away from loved ones who had lived during that time.
I grew up in a military household, my father watched nothing but wwII and hitler.
now my husband does the same thing.

Visit the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, and then deny it ever happened!! Anyone who has ever been there leaves with a heavy heart and the knowledge that man's inhumanity to man was at its peak under Adolph Hitler.

"You're an idiot." That's what I'd say. And then I'd show them the pictures of the dead bodies, the videos of Adolf Hitler screaming for the slaughter of the Jews, and any of the countless Holocaust survivors that can attest to its legitimacy. But quite honestly, I don't think I'd have the patience to do all that: I'd just slap them up the head and kick them to the ground.

if you're willing to get into a debate (& they're the sort that can have a semi-civil discussion), you might ask why they think so & then ask for physical support. We who know it happened--pictures, family testimony, eye-witness accounts, etc.--have lots of proof to counter most arguments. I have read newspaper accounts from that time, and really, I don't know that photography would be so advanced then that we could not find discrepancies in altered shots.
The really obnoxious ones I would like to take to see people with Alzheimer's who were in the camps--a number of them are now reliving it, and there can be no doubt they all went through something terrible in their youth.

unfortantly Germany is still teaching people that it didnt happen. That Americans are liars. That we are just saying that to make them look evil. It is very sad. My boyfriends dad works for Jews here in hollywood. One was a holocaust survivor his name was Murry. He just recently passed away. He lost everone in his family be a sister which he just found 10 years prior to his death and he still had the tatoo of his # on his arm. He was a really good man. RIP Murry!
