check with the parole agent but as far I as I know they would not say no for anyone getting on in their lives. As long as they follow the set rules for the case then it should prove not to be a problem. Good luck.

I believe one state previously had specific "licensing" rules of which included the licensing of barbers....the State of Nevada.

Since 2004, I believe the law was changed somewhat where professions such as barbers could continue to obtain licenses despite a former conviction.

You should check with your state licensing board to determine if being a convicted felon would prevent him from becoming a barber!

I work on a military base in Alaska, I have several coworkers who not only are felons, but got their licenses in Prison.
Yes you can go to Barbering School .
