I want to post for a job I found but need some info on SMT manfacturing. I have over 15 years of manufacturing experience but am not familiar with SMT. Can anybody help me out?

SMT = "surface mount technology" - an automated methods of mounting small components onto printed circuit boards. Usually involves the operation of a pick and place machine as well as a reflow solder oven to set the soldered parts.

I just did a google and found that SMT Manufacturing means: Surface Mount Technology. As to what that means, I don't know, but here is a link that may be helpful...
