Birth Certificates for you and everyone in the family. Proof of income, check stub, child support, social security, IDs location of absent parent, if any, light bill, car payment, title/car registration, phone bill, lease, proof of insurance, car, renters, life-main life, social security cards, bank statements, They should send you an important card in the mail, with all the things you need. But that is about it. SOme states dont need as much...

If you have any children under the age of 5 apply for WIC... Newborns get like 9 cans of POWDER formula, 1-5 year olds get lots of milk, eggs, cheese, peanut butter, juice, and ceral.

ANother thing, most states offer a program called life line, where you get free connection charges on your phone if you got in the last 60 days, and take off the taxes on your phone bill. My bill is only 9 dollars.

I know this for a fact, bring proof of I.D., maybe two, ALL utility bills, (that are NOT paid yet, that is if you live in a home where you pay for the bills and such. Or your spouse does), proof of paycheck. I would not bring the actual paycheck but at least bring the pay stub after you have cashed it. If you don't have any of these things, then don't bring them. Make sure you tell the worker why you are requesting this service (why you need it) and how you are able to live at this time. Make sure to make it sound that you are trying to make things work whether you are not or even if you are in a good situation. Don't go overboard but kind of suck it up for all its worth at the same time.

Good luck. Have a great day!

Never had to apply. Hope I never do! Hope your situation gets better. My only advice would be to call them before you leave your house to find out exactly. Then you won't have to keep going back.. my guess would be:
Proof of income
Family's Social Security cards
Something like a bill to verify your address
thats all I can think of...oh don't forget to bring yourself! ;)
