Bush had six years of an easy ride, and now he has a little accountability. We should always have different partys in the executive and legislative branches. Things seem to work better that way...

USARMORSOLDIER:

Yeah actually I'm delighted with the way things have gone. It's not like there was a ton of ligislation passed in the last term of the all Republican Congress. And Bush was getting away with tons.

KM,

We'll have to see about Executive privledge. That term hasn't scared off the Congressmen and we may have to fight that battle in court.

What homework?

I know; it seems like whenever the same party controls the two branches of government that the parties can control, there's chaos. Checks and balances happens more often when there's a balance of power.

The issue would never even been known to the public. If it did come to light, the fired attorney's would have been accused of something ridiculous.

I agree 100% and opposing parties in the executive and legislative branches. It's supposed to be a balance of power between the three branches not a stacked deck. However, that's not how things work here and it's for a reason. The people elect our representatives and senators. Its a shame there are so few U.S citizens that have the sense to participate in the political process.

Yeah, the Democratic leadership has so far done a brilliant and sorely needed job exposing the staggering corruption and incompetence of the Bush Administration.

The hearings about the treatment of wounded veterans alone achieved more than the negligent Republican congress did in six years of pretty much total control.

That's like saying you like the crooks to be in charge, but at least there CAN POSSIBLY BE some effective law enforcement since 1-20-07. The Repuke Party is thoroughly criminal. It isn't about the US Attorneys that were fired, it is about what the ones that STAYED had to do, or THOUGHT they had to do, for the Dumbya Coup and cronies to keep their jobs. Democrats aren't perfect, and among them there will also be the bad element, but they are the best we have now.

Yep...

So far it's worked out GREAT!

No legislation passed, they have done nothing but bicker, and they are more interested in this witch hunt than alternative fuels or healthcare.

Yeah, so far this Democrat lead house and senate are really accomplishing alot.
