I like the third one. It's true and can apply to other aspects of our life. Like if we fall down or reach an obstacle in our lives its up to ourselves to pick up the peices and move on. Nice job.

I hate to tell you but # 3 is not new it was in an episode of KungFu with David Carridine; Grasshopper it is not the falling into the pond that causes the drowning it is remaining there. Then he ran across the pond. It was in reference to facing our innermost fears and conquering them. And # 6 was said by the late great Martin Luther King in one of his many speeches. If you check far enough and deep enough you will find that everything that can possibly be said; already has.

I find the first part of #4 good. I also like #6.Wow,how long do you take to make up all these?
btw,i think #1 is bull.why not make it shorter and less cheesy? I prefer:a mans most powerful weapon is his determination.there!=D

#3 because sometimes we do drown. especially in selfpity, bigotry or hate.
many people wallow in it until they can't see anything else. they drown in it because they are so focused on that one thing.
a waste of life.
by the way #5 doesn't make sense to me. sorry. its probably just me! its close to dawn here and i haven't been to sleep yet! g'nite

All of them were great and have a lot of truth to them. My favorite was number three. Short and to the point. Excellent.
