Squeeze in exercise into your life.
While watching TV or working at the computer stand instead of sit. Park farther away so you have to walk more. Take the stairs instead of the elevator

People should really STOP dieting and start making the changes to their lifestyle that make dieting obsolete. Dieting is usually associated with changing your eating habits to lose weight. But it also suggests that it's a short term change in behavior. This is how we end up with so many fat people and a multi-million dollar weight loss industry.
We don't gain all those extra pounds overnight so why do we think it's possible to lose them in a short time? The only long term weight management answer is to eat less and be more active. All the pills, programs and exercise equipment all are focused on either getting us to eat less or to exercise more.
The reason why diets fail (and they do for over 90% of the people) is we think of a diet as a temporary change in eating habits. What we all really need is an attitude adjustment to make the needed lifestyle changes that make dieting a thing of the past.
Choices in what we eat and what we do are the keys to never dieting again. It's a lot of very small things that can make all the difference in the world. Washing your car by hand instead of running it through the carwash is great exercise. I laugh at the number of people that will circle the parking lot of their favorite health club waiting for a close parking spot. They're going to exercise but don't want to walk a little farther than is absolutely necessary.
If you drink sugared soda daily, switching to a low or no calorie alternative will result in losing a pound every 3 weeks or so just by making this one change. Doesn't sound like much but it's a 17 pound weight loss in a year without being on a "diet" and this is the secret to real weight loss. Simple changes can make all the difference.

The calculation to weight loss is: output > input. Or exerting more calories than you consume daily. Truthfully, to lose weight and keep it off, it's best to adopt good eating habits and a regular exercise rountine (at least 3 days a week). But you can lose wieght without changing your eating habits by just exercising more to burn more calories than what you consume in a day.

There is only one real way to lose weight, you take in less calories than you expend......that is it. All these fad diets are great for a quick fix but the second you go off the diet, you gain it all back...so figuire out what your calorie intake is and then cut it back and get moving....moving will burn calories, eat less caloric foods (which doesn't mean starving)....and get a move on......good luck.

You don't need to DIET per se. You just need to be more aware of what you eat, and do it in smaller portions.
Incorporate more veggies and fruits, cut out red meats and high-carb-content foods (sugared soda, sweets, white bread & white rice, pasta, etc).
Cut down on fat & sugar intake as well (candy, desserts, sour cream, butter, whole milk, cheese).
And drink LOTS of fluids - especially ones with no caffeine (like coffee, caffinated tea, colas, etc).
Making these simple lifestyle changes, along with simple exercises are often all that's needed to help you lose weight.

Stop eating so much. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. Most people just eat too much and that is why they're fat. Standing while you watch TV is not going to cut it if you're stuffing your face like a pig while you're standing there. That's what most people do when they watch TV. It's not hard to stop eating. Just keep your mouth shut and stop bending your elbows.

To lose weight, you have to either lower your calories or burn more calories. So, if you don't want to diet, figure out how to get in more exercise.
