It is worse in Jr. High than it is in High School as all kids that age are insecure and finding their own identity, but they want to fit in.
Have confidence, stick up for yourself and don't take their crap. If you are weak, don't say anything, or worse yet, cry, they see you as an easy target to project their own insecurities onto.
If they make a comment, ask them what they think is so great about themselves that they have the right to say anything like that (whatever they said to you). If they say they are all that, just tell them not to flatter themselves, they are not that great. If they insult you again, retort that you are happy with who you are and you are sorry that they are not happy with who they are and feel the need to put other people down in order to make themselves feel better. May not stop them entirely, but does give them food for thought.

don't be worry,i have the same situation like you,but in a mine, people talk about me everywhere and they say a lot of bad things about me,although i didn't do anything for them....any way don't waist your time in explaining for them, don't care about what do they say, because you know it is not the truth...just trust on yourself and give your friends your best....good luck

I know things like this are hard...Just remember it won't always be this way! I suggest starting some rumors about them! Let them see how it feels. Not good advice I know.
