i went to this site www.rickey.org?p=2761 and listed to him before idol. he was actually ok. what happend? now i get so embarrased to watch and listen to him.

All I see with him now is he still can't sing but he's acting arrogant as can be. Like he thinks he's a superstar. Before he seemed scared of being voted off now he acts like he never will be.

Sanjaya isn't a terrible singer; he's mediocre at best though. There are some exceptionally talented people that he shares the stage with and in my estimation he falls short of singers like Lakisha and Melinda. I did hear through the grapevine that people are trying to skew the results of the show by urging people to vote for Sanjaya so the others will lose, proving either way that the resulsts are either rigged or if they're handled in the proper, unadultered way. If this is true, it's only a rumor I've heard, then it's a sad, sad thing that Americans are taking this seriously; this is the only method of exposure for some extremely talented people have.

I know. I couldn't stand his performance it was really annoying! I was expecting simon to say something mean he said nothing basically.. what is up w/ that? I want sanjaya gone! I think maybe (this is a maybe) he might be gone next week and after that Chris Richardson.. Chris is cute and all but he isn't that good of a singer! Sanjaya really really needs to go so many people don't like him at all! You know what else? He'll be on the American Idol cd that comes out 2! that stinks!

Sanjaya is no William Hung but he sure can't be compared to any of the other contestants. He has a flair about him and I do give him credit for hanging in there even though it's well known he doesn't belong. I just wish whoever is voting for him will care enough to stop and let him walk away with his pride. If he goes any further it will make a mockery of the whole show.

ok, he has absolutely no stage presence and he certainly can't sing for the life of him!!
honestly, here is what it is: there are many many people who want to sabotage the show American Idol and make it so that the show fails. (who these people are is beyond me) but by voting for sanjaya every week they make AI look less and less credible and more and more ridiculous!
if he gets taken all the way to the top 5 i am not watching the show anymore....it's supposed to be about singing, and right now it's not. i absolutely believe there is a massive amount of people who are trying to ruin the show!

He doesnt have a bad voice when he's only singing to himslef, or maybe off camera. His audition for idol wasnt that bad. But it's when he hits that stage and all the cameras are on him....he ends up sounding like crap. He has no stage presence.

yes my dear I agree I thought his auditions where better... I think he is letting it go to his head a little now... I really didn't think all that jumping around he did on Tues night was any where near as good as the rest of the group ... but here we ... if we watch we have to endure him once again.

Yeah, I think his singing has steadily gotten worse. He's not showing that spark that he had in auditions. I think he's trying too hard to stage perform. You know how when someone sounds great but you can't stand looking at them?

i think that the thing with sanjaya is that....he can sing.......but its just that his voice is low, and soft......compared to the other guys in the show....u know........i personally think he should've left weeks ago......i feel kinda bad for the kid......but by the look on his face every time they're gonna take some one out....he looks sad....and un-worthy of being there.....PEOPLE>>>>LET HIM GO!!!!!!! lol

u know wats wierd thaat i heard ont the radio is that ppl say that the judges say somethin bad about the preformers and they stay judges say aomethin good they go just like sundance also thats y simon is bein nnice to him so the ppl get him off
