If the world spins really really fast and some people and hamsters are on the other side of the world. why don't we fly off into space? Is that where all the odd socks go to? And how does the sea stay stuck to the earth?

Its all about gravity. The world don't spin fast, it spin very slowly, but you can't feel it though. Gravity holds everything down. Where is the gravity? I don't know.
