ok, my girlfriend and i have been having sex for about 2 months now, but always real safe. spermacide condom, i pull out, and one has never broken or come off. recently we decided to quit having sex, and save it for marriage. my problem is that she is due for her period about now.... and she has some signs that scare me. for a day, she had a bad headache, but she also had a head cold, and i've noticed some mood swings. Second, she's been experiencing some light spotting, once last evening, but it went away, and once this morning, but redder in color. Should i be worried? also, she has a yeast infection that she got about 4 days ago, but it is going away. is the spotting because of that? I am really started to get scared, but she will not take a pregnancy test until she knows she misses her period. please tell me something.

ok i'm sorry. she did treat her yeast infection as soon as she got it. and it is going away. second, we had sex about 2 weeks ago.

Yeast infections do not just "go away" unless you get them treated. Spotting is not unusual for a women and you mentioned she has a cold so this can cause a period to be late or other things. There is really no need for her to take a pregnancy test as you used protection and the fact that she has no symptoms of pregnancy.

UNfortunately, if you have sex you can get preg, no matter what preventatives you take. She could just be having a funky period. If you think she may be she shouldn't be taking any cold meds. That could thin the lining of the uterus or where the placenta attaches and could cause miscarriage. The best advise is to wait and see. No need to panic though. What will be, will be.

stop panicking and get a hold of yourself. wait til you're sure she hasn't gotten her period, have her take the pregnancy test then because you're not going to force her to do it any sooner. she might just get it soon so calm down.

Well i would think that she is pregnet because most of that stuff means that but how long has it been since you and her has made love?

just stop worrying about it, she most likely isn't and you'll find out soon enough anyway. just don't stress too much about it.

relax you have time to deal with it. if she is pregnant you can do something about it in a week or two. but worrying will not make it not so.
