The only way for you to find out is to try, you can never tell if the job is for you or not for you, it might be not enjoyable for some but will be for you. Who knows, you're not happy with your current job try another one.

LOL. I am not laughing at you, but I am recalling the days when I worked in a call center. This is a case where the dumb cliche' "money isn't everything" actually applies. More than likely, if you are unhappy in nursing, you will hate working in a call center! Find your passion, decide if there is a way to capitalize on it financially and make it happen. Don't allow yourself to go into a rut (doing the same thing day in and day out for 20-30 years) then wishing you would have done things differently.

Make a decision to do what you need to do to be happy in every area of your life and go after it!

NOOOO, i currently work in a call center and it is awful. I am trying to find a new job that will pay about the same, but it is difficult. This is a highly stressful job and the turn over rate is
so high, you have new people constantly coming and going.
Plus most facilities are dirty and full of disgusting people. IMO

I was a call centre agent for almost a year and it was extremely stressful and I was stuck doing night shifts. I enjoyed the challenge at first, but then it became damaging to my health... sitting for long periods of time, etc. The money wasn't worth it!

Find out the details, if it sounds like something you'd like, and if you're not happy with your current position, go for it. Twice the pay does sound nice.
