My ex wrote a blog this morning about how he tried cat food last night just to see why his cat was so crazy about it. I have been riding his behind all day about eating cat food and what not. If you've tried it, what'd you think?

I never have but my sister used to eat it daily. She would sit on the floor next to the cat dish and give the cat a piece and then she would have a piece. I guess that's why she is fond of licking herself so much huh???

my 2 year old love my cats dry food!..gross! it's the royal canin brand so at least my daughter has a shinny coat. so i popped at dry nugget in my mouth..why just to make sure it was safe. became slimy in my mouth. not like i'm going to start carrying them for a quick snack. also i do stop my daughter from eating the cat's food, but if i didn't have the gate up she would head for the dish.

I have never tried it, but there is nothing harmful in it. It is just a perfectly balanced diet for the cat. There may be some sort of fish flavorings in it, and perhaps some other meat, but it is perfectly healthy.

I haven't tried cat food but when I was little my friend and I had a thing for Milkbones, we were six we thought it was gourmet, then we discovered Meaty Bones, now THAT was gourmet .

Yummeh! I've also tried dog food... not quite as good. When I was a kid my brother and sister and I used to dare each other to eat different things... dog biccies, cat biccies, chook pellets... until my sister and I ate some lovely green chook pellets... they didn't taste too good... and neither did the syrup of ipecac our mum pumped into us when she found us eating them (they were snail pellets!)

At the pet store where I worked when I was younger we tried those Dog Cookies that are like vanilla sandwich cookies. It was on a dare. They were pretty bland and dry, but not the nastiest thing I have ever tasted.
