Cool group. Very modest and a highly understated, dry sense of humor. Definitely a different, more European sense of self than us brash, loud, over-the-top neighbors to the South.

Typicly americans would see people like you, Canadians as people who say "eh" all the time and think its really funny. Have you ever heard the song "Canadian Idiot" by Weird Al Yankovic? Its a song (parody to "American Idiot" by Green Day) making fun of Canadian people. Listen to it, and you'll hear some of the jokes we make about canadians.

I had a Canadian neighbor and she was a total wacko but I wouldn't judge all Canadians by her. One thing I did learn from her is that most Canadians think that Americans are violent and also that we need to clean up our country because it is dirty compared to Canada.

I know quite a few Canadians and if they hadn't told me they were Canadian, I would have just assumed they were 100% American.

Nothing negative. I do not hear much talk about Canadians one way or the other.

I have to say, I went to Canada in high school...it was SO clean! I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia...NASTY CITY! I really enjoyed my time there! It was the first time I had ever seen a gay couple in public...(I was young!)
