1) They both rely heavily on ratings/polls.
2) They both rely heavily on marketing/advertising
3) They both rely heavily on stars & villains
4) They both constantly need controversies/battles & scandals to keep their audience (American people) interested.
5) They both spend money like teenage girls.
6) They both hire some of the least intelligent, most ignorant people in the US.
7) They both think that they are helping America when in fact they are only manipulating the US to what they believe in.
9) They like nothing better than a special "main event" battle like American idol or Watergate or Libby trial or Fed Prosecutors firings scandal, that brings in the highest ratings of the year & makes it look like what they do really matters when it all a bunch of BS.
If US Govt. is really nothing more than American Idol might it be time to change it back to being a Govt. & not a TV Network?
