drinking water is good for you. If you are eating and drinking normally then it is fine.

If you are becoming dehydrated, for example through sweating, diarrhoea and sickness etc, then drinking only water can work against you. Loosing liquid takes your bodies natural salts with it and plain water has none. By drinking water it helps your body to sweat and encourages urination which causes you to loose more salts.

Your body works by weak electrical signals which water does not transmit. It needs the salts to do this.

In the case of diarrhoea and sickness medics usually prescribe electrolytic solutions to drink which brings the balance back.

Sports drinks have the same effect. So adding Robinson's will give you a slight lift in body salts which is good. I do not know how much sugar that it has which could be fattening.

It is a fallacy that sticking to water is best. Several cups of tea and coffee a day provides antioxidants which you need and many other drinks have health benefits.

Water on it's own is neutral.

If you look at the contents on a bottle of Robinsons you will see that it contains water followed by a long list of chemicals which no body knows the long term effects of. Drink water only and flavour it with freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice. No chemicals just pure goodness.
